Welcome to GEMS World Academy Chicago!

GEMS World Academy Chicago (GWA) is a private preschool-12 school using the rigorous International Baccalaureate program as a framework for exploration and inquiry. Students learn locally, but think globally as they develop the skills to make a meaningful impact. 

Our new Upper School (grades 6-12) campus opens fall 2019! 

We are currently accepting applications for:

• The current 2018-2019 school year (based on grade-level availability)
• Fall 2019 Admissions (preschool-grade 11)

How to apply:

• New Family (no application in-progress): create user ID and a password. Your application can be completed over time allowing you to review, edit and revise before submitting. You can log into your account to review the status of your application and required documents throughout the application process.
• New Family (application in-progress):  log back in using the user ID and password you created at the start of the application process. If you can’t remember your user ID or password, click “I Forgot my User Name/Password” to the left.
• Currently Enrolled Families (applying for a sibling):  use your My BackPack user ID and password to login to the online application.

The priority application deadline of December 31st has passed; however, we are still accepting applications on a rolling basis.
